Variations

Our online casino offers a variety of poker variations including Aces and Eights Poker, Double Bonus Poker, Loose Deuces Poker, All American Poker, Double Double Bonus Poker, 7s Wild Poker, Caribbean Stud Jackpot poker and other high-energy poker alternatives.

All of these poker types involve the building of a hand with the highest value possible but there are differences – some hands are multi-deck games while others are single-deck variations, some games involve building a hand of 5 cards and others involve 7 cards, some variations include side bets that give you an extra opportunity to win a payout, and so on.

It takes a little time to decide which poker variation is the one that’s right for you but if you spend a little time experimenting, you’ll find the type of poker that suits you!

Some of the most popular poker variations include:

Joker Poker

Joker Poker, also called “Joker Wild Poker”, is played much like classic poker but the deck includes an additional card – the joker. The Joker is Wild so it can substitute for other cards to create winning hands.

Since it’s easier to build a winning hand, there are some limitations that you don’t have in a regular poker game to even things out, such as needing a pair of kings or better to win.

Other than that, the goal of the game is to build the best hand that you can. You place your bet and receive 5 cards. You then decide which ones you want to keep and which ones you want to trade.

After the second deal you will compare your hand with that of the dealer – highest hand wins.

The value of the various combinations are the same as those for classic poker hands. Royal Flush is the highest hand, then a straight flush, then a flush, then a straight and so on.

Caribbean Hold ‘Em

Caribbean Hold 'Em is similar to Texas Hold 'Em poker except the dealer can’t qualify in order for the Ante bet  to pay even money.  There’s an additional Caribbean Hold ‘Em side bet as well.

The game starts with every player putting his or her ante into the pot. Both the dealer and the player receive two hole cards and three community cards.

All cards are face-up. First the player makes the decision of whether or fold or to call – if he calls his second bet must be equal to 2x the ante bet. Then the dealer takes his turn.

All participants who are still in the game receive another two community cards and the hands are scored based on the highest poker value of the five community cards and two hole cards. Dealer must have a pair of fours or better.

For an additional $1 you can make a bet on the progressive jackpot. House edge on the jackpot is high but people win the jackpots every day – if it’s your day you could turn that $1 into hundreds, thousands, or even millions of dollars!

So, give it a go.  Even if slots is your "usual" game, take a shot at a wide range of Poker variations and find your fav!
