Dead Island 2 is set several months after the events of Dead Island: Riptide. The game takes place in the city of Las Angeles after a zombie outbreak. The whole state has been quarantined after the latest invasion and a zombie virus is running rampant, forcing you to confront the danger in order to save millions of lives.
Dead Island 2 plays from a first-person player perspective and contains Survival-Horror gameplay mechanics. The release date has been moved up several times but it is currently scheduled as April 28, 2023
Hogwarts Legacy
The Hogwarts Legacy action-role-playing game is set in Harry Potter’s Wizarding World and incorporates elements from the Harry Potter novels and films as well as the Fantastic Beasts follow-up series. It is available for play on Windows, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5
During the game, players take roles of students at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Levels include Dragon Alley, Forbidden Forest, Hogsmeade and Ravenclow and Hufflepuff common rooms.
Players build their gender, appearance and house with voice, body type and accessories customizations. Throughout the game, players access and upgrade their various talents, abilities and spells through in-game challenges – Quests, Field Guide Pages, Combat, Room of Requirement and Exploration. Each player modifies the Room of Requirement while leveling up through the game.
Hogwarts Legacy is set in the 1890s. A student starting in the fifth year holds the key to "ancient secret that threatens to tear the wizarding world apart." To keep this from happening the player, as the student, must discover why this ancient magic threatens everyone and how it can be harnessed. New characters, including mentor Professor Eleazar Fig, a mentor figure to the protagonist, The leader of the Goblin Rebellion Ranrok and Victor Rookwood, the leader of a group of Dark Wizards.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
The latest Legend of Zelda game is The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, an action-adventure experience that is scheduled for release on May 12 2023 for Nintendo Switch gaming. Tears of the Kingdom is a follow-up to Breath of the Wild is expected to be an open-world game where gamers traverse and explore lands.
Along with the vast lands of Hyrule, Tears of the Kingdom will take players to the floating islands where Link swans divie from dungeons suspended above the clouds, and a glowing sword arm offers a new ability. New weapons include wooden axes, swords, shields, bow and arrows, and more. The storyline follows the desiccated corpse of Ganon which rises from beneath Hyrule Castle, starts to spread No word yet on whether Princess Zelda will make an appearance.
Starfield
The Starfield action role-playing game for Microsoft Windows and the Xbox series is set in a space-themed world which extends outward from the Solar System. In 2310, in The Settled Systems, two large factions, the Freestar Collective and the United Colonies, engaged in the Colony War. Now, 20 years after the war, the Freestar Collective and the United Colonies have an uneasy truce which is the backdrop for the customizable character’s space exploration as a member of the Constellation, an organization of space explorers.
There’s a lot of choice for customizing the character who will search for artifacts in space. In the game the character builds outposts on new plants, conducts research, gathers resources, upgrades gear, modifies weapons and prepares to take on danger. The spaceship has upgradable parts and customizable exterior and interior which comes in handy during dueling episodes.
Skull & Bones
Skull and Bones is a tactical action-adventure game for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Amazon Luna and Microsoft windows. It’s an open-world environment that plays from a third-person perspective. In Skull & Bones the player customizes a pirate captain and then either sails through the Indian Ocean as a single-player or gathers other players for player-vs-player in Disputed Waters.
Ships to be sailed include brigantines, frigates and sloops-of-war using collectible items such as cannons, rockets, spy glasses and mortars. Pirate captains can order their crews to ram ships and then board them to take them over. There are Loot Hunts where two groups of players go treasure hunting. The game includes microtransactions.
